JOINING
US IN THE WILD COUNTRY
With
a coverage zone that encompasses four West Coast states and one
Canadian province, we'd be declared clinically insane if we didn't
have someone riding shotgun on our Wild Country news-gathering
patrols. So, we have several "somebodies" watching our broadcast
backs: our guests. In the space of a typical 120-minute show, we'll
call on as many as a dozen different guests spread throughout the
Pacific Northwest - the alpha-class guides, outfitters, lodges,
charters, tackle shops and fisheries managers of the region - and
a wildly diverse roll call of gear manufacturers, legislators, professional
anglers and the movers and shakers of the outdoors world.
But
it doesn't end there. In addition to the on-the-water/in-the-field
reports, our "120 Minutes of Wild" are spiced with a hearty
dose of star power from the fields of professional sports, television,
music, entertainment and politics. You might be surprised at the
number of certified superstars who secretly wish they were professional
anglers, fishing guides and outfitters. Here are a few previous
